About Manhal Khan

Many people carry something for a long time before they say out loud that it is hard. A grief that has not eased. A worry that never lets up. The quiet sense of being worn down by family, work, or a change you did not choose. I work with adults who are ready to set some of that weight down, one to one and in groups.

I will not rush that. I work at the pace you set, and from a trauma-informed lens, which simply means I pay attention to how your past has shaped the way you feel today. My training is in acceptance and commitment therapy, a way of making room for hard thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, and in positive psychology, the study of what helps a person steady themselves and find meaning, not only what hurts.

I have also completed Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, which prepares me to stay with people through their hardest moments rather than turn away from them.

Everything happens on Saalvio, where the message you send before you book, the session itself, and the support you lean on in between sit in one place. If you are not sure where to begin, you can message me first and ask whatever you need to ask. Your first session is free, and there is no pressure to continue. You can take your time.

Approach to therapy

Manhal blends acceptance and commitment therapy with trauma-informed, strengths-based work grounded in positive psychology. She works with adults one to one and in groups, moving at the pace each person sets. If you have questions before you book, you can message her first, at no cost and with no commitment.
